As if Sandy Springs wasn’t beautiful enough. On April 18-19, the vibrant, family-friendly north Atlanta community welcomes Artsapalooza for the third year in a row. The two-day annual art festival celebrates the revitalization of the Sandy Springs community and attracts more and more people to the area every year. Artsapalooza blends equal parts art show and music festival with a street party vibe. In addition to the children’s play area, local musicians, and interactive art stations, the festival will also feature over 150 local painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers, leather and metal craft persons, glass blowers, and more!

Looking for something the whole family can enjoy? Artsapalooza has something for everyone! The food truck lineup alone is enough to keep your entire gang satisfied. If the food truck feeding frenzy isn’t enough, arts and crafts activities designed exclusively for kids will keep the kidos occupied for hours. You might even discover that you’ve been housing a child prodigy! Live acoustic music creates the perfect aural backdrop to the beloved community celebration. Add that to the FREE parking and admission and you’ve found the perfect way to bring in the spring without breaking the bank.

The festival is being presented by The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, a nonprofit formed in 2005 to support the Atlanta arts community by operating arts and craft events and festivals. The Southeast Festivals & Events Association member prides itself on its socially and economically diverse festivals. Maybe it’s that distinction that earned the foundation the prestigious Kaleidoscope award designed to acknowledge the significant achievement in the festival and event industry. Proceeds from the festival benefit a scholarship fund for local artists administered by the foundation.

Artsapalooza is free to attend. For more information, please visit www.sandyspringsartsapalooza.com
