TICKET ALTERNATIVE ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF FRESHTIX

Industry Veterans Bring Powerful Self-Service Ticketing To the Masses

ATLANTA- October 1, 2014 – Ticket Alternative, a boutique ticketing company, today announced the launch of Freshtix, a self-service ticketing solution that allows anyone to professionally ticket an event regardless of the size or ticket price. As part of Ticket Alternative’s commitment to exceptional customer care and expertise in ticketing, it has developed Freshtix to enable event organizers to build, post, promote and manage their own events. Because of this autonomy, Freshtix fees are lower than traditional ticketing systems. What’s more, events can be live in just minutes. The service is free to use and there are no fees for free events.  And because Freshtix was developed in-house by ticketing industry veterans it brings the frictionless experience of a white-glove service to the masses.

“We’ve sold millions of tickets since founding Ticket Alternative and we staff and manage events every week. So we know what organizers need; not just to sell tickets but to get their attendees in the door quickly and efficiently,” explains President and Co-Founder Iain Bluett. “Freshtix was designed with volume in mind. While it’s perfect for a small, forty-person event, it is capable of handling events with thousands of participants.”

Freshtix sold a million dollars’ worth of tickets in its first few months of operation and has already been used by notable events and venues such as Atlanta Botanical Garden, Starwood Hotels, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, Gumball 3000, various Hard Rock Cafes, and Michigan Track Classic.

“Freshtix was incredibly simple to use, both for us and our ticket buyers. The ticketing system had no problem handling thousands of ticket sales for our event and even though it was a do-it-yourself platform we still had the support and expertise of the Freshtix team at our disposal. They even sent a team to work the event with us for free. We loved the iPhone scanners they used to check people in at the door and the box office software made on-site sales a breeze.”-Melissa Krinsky, Director of Marketing, Clear Channel Media + Entertainment

Freshtix is now out of invitation-only beta and open to the public for use. Event organizers can visit https://www.freshtix.com/sell-tickets-online to list their events.
