A love of cooking often starts early in life, with stories of helping parents of grandparents in the kitchen. For many families, cooking together is a learning, bonding experience that Taste of Atlanta celebrates this weekend at the Family Food Zone.
This year’s Family Food Zone will teach young cooks techniques on everything from egg salad to stir fry, with some spooky Halloween treats in between! In addition, locally and nationally-celebrated chefs of all ages inspire festivalgoers to tie on an apron, gather around the kitchen counter and stir up some fun. Deemed the “Future Chef Food Fight”, this year three budding young chefs will be put to the test as they create a dish with that day’s special ingredient. The “Fight” will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm.
