At Freshtix, we LOVE a festival (we also happen to have some tricks up our sleeve on how to organize a great one). Spring and Summer are our favorite seasons as we celebrate everything from BBQ and crawfish to bands, beer, and great causes! With so much going on in and around Atlanta, we thought we’d help by highlighting a few of our favorite upcoming events!

Rhythm and Brews – Heritage Sandy Springs presents the 2nd Annual Rhythm & Brews: a celebration of local bands and local beers. Kick back and relax with a frosty beverage while listening to a wide variety of live music in a beautiful outdoor setting. All proceeds from Rhythm & Brews benefit Heritage Sandy Springs.

WREKtackular 2017 – Don’t miss an incredible night of bands at Drunken Unicorn! Line-up includes Deatoni Parks, Bitter, Vampire Stepdad, kayyP, Victor and the Wrecking Crew All-stars.

Savor and Celebrate at Avalon – Enjoy savory tastes from Avalon’s acclaimed restaurants, live music featured by The Equinox Orchestra and Blair Crimmins, and a special preview of The Hotel at Avalon – promised to be exactly like nothing else.

Runaway Gin Sweetwater 420 Festival After Party – With over 220 shows under their belt, Runaway Gin is the “World’s Most Active Phish Tribute Band”. Join us after Sweetwater 420 Fest at the Velvet Underground at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta!

The Mantras Sweetwater 420 Festival After Party – The Mantras, a five-piece jam machine born of Greensboro, NC have been conquering crowds and melting minds all over the country progressively for over a decade.

Muddbuggs and Music – Rock 100.5, Kicks 101.5 and Move Your Tails want to welcome spring the best way possible… with the 1st annual, MuddBuggs & Music Festival, Saturday, April 22nd from NOON to 8pm at the Duluth Town Green Lawn and Amphitheater.  What is MuddBuggs & Music?  Simple.  It’s a good ole’ fashion crawfish boil and music festival.

Thrive Jive – Join us for Thrive Jive on Saturday, April 22nd at the brand new tasting room at Second Self Brewery. Our guests will enjoy 36 oz. of Second Self Beer and a personalized tour of the brewery. Each guests’ inner foodie will be in heaven as they taste these delicious beers paired with lip-smacking cuisine from some of the city’s most awesome food trucks. Entertainment provided by Good Night Drive.

Atlanta Mess-Around – See you at the EARL and 529 for two nights of messin’ around! See Freshtix for the full line-up of bad*** bands – there are too many to fit here!

Smyrna Crawfish Boil – Don’t miss the 15th Annual Atkins Park Crawfish Boil. Crawfish and Cajuns shipped directly from New Orleans, with Zac Brown’s Executive Chef, Rusty Hamlin, is home to boil your crawfish! Two full days of food, fun, and live music!

Wrecking Bar Wild, Wild Beer Festival – Get ready to go wild at the 3rd annual Wild, Wild Beer Fest on May 6. The event, which will take place from 12-4 p.m., will highlight sour and wild ales brewed in Georgia and feature some of the top barrel-aged sour beers made in America and Europe.

Food That Rocks – It’s time to eat, drink and party with a purpose. The second annual Food That Rocks, a Celebration of Sandy Springs, is set for Saturday, May 6 from 6:30pm – 11:00pm. This all-inclusive event will provide food, wine, beer and cocktails, local musicians and benefit Sandy Springs-based charities.

Shaky Knees presents Anderson East w/ Great Peacock – See ya post Shaky Knees for Anderson East and Great Peacock. You can call Great Peacock a folk band… but don’t expect them to make music for campfires or square dances. Raised in the Deep South and headquartered in Nashville, they’re a group of red-blooded country boys who aren’t afraid of the big city.

Shaky Knees presents Temples w/ Lo Moon – Temples is an English rock band formed in 2004 who you’ll find rockin’ the EARL after Shaky.

Racks by the Tracks – Take a road trip to Kingsport, Tennessee for craft beer, barbecue tastings and a full day of live music! There’s also a 5K and great activities for the kiddos!

Rome River Jam – See you for a day of tailgating and a night of awesome music! Old Dominion headlines, joined by Muscadine Bloodline, Job Langston, and more!

Papa Joe’s BanjoBQue – Join us Memorial Day Weekend 2017 in Evans, Georgia for the 8th Annual Papa Joe’s Banjo-B-Que Music Festival. Experience some of the best roots, Americana and bluegrass music you can find, tasty barbecue, a large selection of craft beer, a petting zoo, pig races, a fun playground for the kids and so much more.

Atlanta Doom Fest – The name says it all. Two days of metal and mayhem at 529.

Candler Park Music and Food Festival –  See you for two days of amazing live music, dozens of Atlanta’s best food trucks & festival food favorites, artist market, plus a Saturday Morning 5K Run benefiting Atlanta ContactPoint!

Decatur BBQ, Blues and Bluegrass Festival – The 17th annual Decatur BBQ Blues & Bluegrass festival is set for Saturday, August 12th 2017. Once again, experience the sights, sounds, and smells of classic southern BBQ from metro Atlanta staples along with 7+ hours of original live blues and bluegrass music from aspiring and accomplished local/regional/and national acts to Decatur, Georgia in the heart of Oakhurst. This is a family friendly event that is fun for all ages!
